Biography

I was born in Milan on January 28th, 1986. Having always been passionate about film, I directed my first short in 2006. In the following six years, I continued with short films, but expanded my capabilities by shooting a comedy in 16mm, which was presented at Milano Film Festival. Two of my VideoPoems were screened at the Pordenone Festival of Literature, and one of my documentaries was premiered in Bologna, and then broadcasted on an Italian channel called Espansione TV. I was formally trained as a director at Milan School of Cinema and Television. I came to the United States in January 2014, first to Seattle where I shot a documentary about the Duwamish Tribe and their struggle to obtain federal recognition. I then moved to Chicago, where I was commissioned by the James R. Jordan Foundation to film a documentary about their legacy in Chicago, and by Suncast TV to work on a documentary and a TV show. I also have produced a series of event and campaign videos for a non-profit organization called Art of Freedom to support their fight against human trafficking.
